Pablo & The Pour Decisions are an Arizona-based band led by singer-songwriter Pablo
Rodriguez, delivering a genre-defying sound that blends the storytelling soul of Americana, the
infectious hooks of Pop, the edge of Indie, and the smooth vibes of Yacht Rock. Their music is a
journey through life’s highs and lows and the beautiful mess in between wrapped in rich
melodies and unforgettable grooves.
Currently recording their debut EP, 30 Year Distraction. With Pablo’s evocative songwriting at the
helm and a tight-knit band behind him, Pablo & The Pour Decisions are ready to captivate
audiences across stages and streaming platforms alike.
Meet The Band
Pablo Rodriguez
Lead Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica
Pablo Rodriguez is a Tucson native and Arizona State University alum who began writing songs during his college years. A versatile performer on rhythm guitar, bass, harmonica, and vocals. Pablo has performed with numerous cover bands and played bass/backing vox with the original Tempe indie rock group LosJones. Influenced by artists like Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, and Ryan Adams, his sound is as eclectic as it is heartfelt. Above all, Pablo is a passionate music fan and a dedicated advocate for building community within the Arizona music scene.
Dave Foegal
Bass, Vocals
Hailing from The Bay area of California, Dave’s prowess on bass has been honed for decades by the hard thumping and fast paced world of punk, ska, and alternative rock. Never one to turn down a good challenge, Dave now lays the foundation for a style of music as foreign to him as cowboy boots on a skater playing bass in the High Lonesome Drifters and Pablo & the Pour Decisions. Nevertheless, nobody makes musicianship look as easy as Dave does. A 30 year musician as well, and shaped by the likes of Weezer, The Beatles, and Spoon, Dave can be found drifting where he’s needed, like a four string wielding ronin.
Kellin Thomas
Lead Guitar, Vocals
Kellin Whitmer, known by his recording name Kellin Thomas, is an Arizona native, multi-instrumentalist, music teacher, and psychotherapist. A fixture in the Valley and West Coast music scenes since the early 2000s, he has performed with a range of groups and draws from an eclectic mix of musical styles. His work blends emotional depth with raw musicality, shaped by years of creative exploration and professional insight. Whether on stage or in the studio, Kellin Thomas creates music that connects, inspires, and resonates.
James McCrea
Drums
James McCrea is originally from the great state of New Jersey and moved to Arizona in 1998, the same year he started playing the drums. He has extensive experience in playing drum set as well as performing and teaching in the marching percussion world, including being a founding member of the AZ Cardinals Drumline. His drumming influences span genres and styles, including Ringo, Levon Helm, Tré Cool, Steve Jordan, Josh Eppard, Mark Gulianna, and too many more to name. James is excited to be joining Pablo & The Pour Decisions and helping to bring this music to you live!
